Switching it up

I had the pleasure of shooting in the Twin Cities a few weeks back. I was able to snap some great pics of three little cuties (brother and sister and their baby boy cousin). Their moms are related to my cousin and they had been wanting to schedule a shoot with me. As it turns out, I was heading to their neck of the woods for a wedding and thought I would shake it up and shoot up there. They were thrilled to have me in their back yard and it was so fun for me just to keep it fresh and shoot in some different spots!

Mister Noah

I met Noah's moms in a Baby Class that I attend each week with my little Ella (okay...not EVERY week lately, man I've been a slacker!). Anyway, I was thrilled when she asked me to capture Noah on film. He's such a handsome devil! We had a great time - joking, chatting, and laughing throughout the whole session. All the while, Noah just cooperated in every way. What a trooper!

Ava

Sweet little Ava was in my studio a few weeks ago with her mom, Grandma, and Aunt. We had so much fun with this little peanut. She was hamming it up for us the whole time! While there we all discovered that we knew each other through my best friend from high school (and to top it off they even knew all my embarassing stories from my friend's wedding shower). So much fun!

Bad blogger!

I know I know - I've been a bad blogger. I haven't update in FOREVER! The truth of it is - there's too many of you and not enough of me! :) I've been crazy busy lately photographing some cute, cute kiddos, families, couples, etc. There's just not enough hours in the day and the blog fell to the back burner. But enough is enough! No more procrastinating, Tammy! :) I've been having a blast...and now it's time to show off some of my latest work.

Let's start with Amber's kiddos. Amber and I worked hard to dodge rain and mud a few weeks ago, finally getting together on a chilly, chilly Sunday to snap some pics of her 3 beautiful babes. You wouldn't even know the temp was cold with smiles like these! :) We had so much fun and (arriving next week) Amber will be the proud owner of a huge print to hang over her fireplace (that is where it's going, right?).

Happy Mother's Day!

To all the mom's who have let me photogaph their beautiful little ones....a very happy mother's day! May you all be treated to back rubs, washed dishes, and breakfast in bed (you deserve it!).

baby elise

Talk about good timing! Two of my best girlfriends (who happen to live 3+ hours away from me) had their first babies while I was back in Iowa for a visit. Lucky me! I was even able to stop by and visit baby Elise and her proud parents for a few hours when she was less than a day old! Of course I had to snap a few pics...she was too cute not to! :)
