With the looooooooooong winter I have been dying to get outside and shoot more. DYING to! I was so thrilled when my sister-in-law and my nieces and nephew came up for a visit/shoot recently. She was at a loss for what she wanted and gave full creative freedom over the shoot to me. Hello urban cowboy! I've been wanting to do more of a funky, edgy shoot and her kiddos were more than game. There were SO many fun pictures to choose from! You'll have to look below at each of their individual shots as well.

Elli

Elli, the oldest of the bunch, can be summed up in one word: HAM! This girl loves the camera! She aspires to be a country music singer and I'm certain that the bright lights of fame are in her future. She soaked up our camera time, posing and creating shots like a little pro. Look out world, Elli is on her way up!

Abby

Here's Abby, the middle child. She's a bit camera shy and would prefer to be out helping her dad with the cows rather than playing inside. But when she shows that true smile of hers...man, oh man - she just knocks me over. What a sweetheart!

Jake

And now some of my little Godson, Jake - he just melts my heart...he's so sweet!

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Hannah. This little girlie CRACKED me up over and over again during our shoot. Though just 4 years old, she can converse with the best of them. She was FULL of questions and, while we shot, we talked about everything from pumpkins to cowboys to Britney Spears. In fact, Hannah even went on to explain to me that she can smile better after drinking coffee (we had to take a few breaks so she could sip from her dad's cup)! I'm laughing right now just thinking about how much fun we had. I hope these pics can convey her lively spirit. Watch out world...this little girl is going places!

Gosh it seems like just yesterday that I was taking Samantha's maternity pics and now here is baby girl Nina! I was just thrilled to snap some shots of this very alert (she wouldn't sleep!) 5 day old. She's so darn beautiful - you all are blessed!
