So...evidently the "2009 in review" post that I just posted has too many pics on it! To see it, click on the post over on the right hand side of the screen. Enjoy!
2009 in review
Ok, ok....bad blogger. BUT....bad blogger has been a good photographer! :)
I've been so busy in 2009 that blogging has, once again, fallen to the wayside. This passed Saturday, however, I was at an event with my family when one of my loyal and faithful clients/blog lovers (Yeah for Tracy!) reminded my how "dead" my blog has been lately! I believe her exact words were "I was starting to wonder if you were still alive anymore!" :)
I decided that enough was enough - Tracy was right. You all deserve to see some fun pics already - so here you are! This is a very small snippet of the amazing clients I've had so far in 2009. Perhaps, someday, I'll be able to show off the wonderful folks I had at the tail end of 2008 too! Until then...enjoy!

mmmmmm.....cake!
So I admit it...I like cake. No, I LOVE cake! Carrot, chocolate, cheese....you name it. If it's in a cake format, I'll eat it!
So, when it came time for my Ella's first birthday I knew that cake was a huge priority. Every nearly one year old simply must take a turn "smashing" some delightful cake all over his/her body to appease waiting moms and dads holding cameras, right?
Well - lucky for Ella, I happen to have a friend who doubles as a fabulous baker. Check out "Better than Sinning" by the lovely Meghan Sinning:

She makes fantastic concoctions that look amazing and come at an affordable price. What more could you ask for??? Check her out next time you find yourself in need of something sweet: meghansinning@hotmail.com
Oh...and to see proof of her work in action, check out some shots of my little gal for yourself:

i could go on and on....
I could go on and on and on about Jenny's kids. I met her (along with her husband and family) a few weeks back on a Friday night for a fantastic session. I think we wrapped up in a little over an hour but I think we could have shot for weeks! These kids were a photographer's DREAM! They were super patient, smiley, beautiful, you name it! Jenny humbly assures me that I hit a jackpot day, but any which way...we had a great session and wonderful pics to prove it. I only wish I had more space to show all of them!! Can't wait for you to have these on your walls Jenny!
always a favorite
Kelly brought her kiddos in for a holiday session a few weeks back (after a SUPER fun session this summer) and we had a crazy, fun, silly time! I love this family because they are at the exact same stage that we (my hubby and I) are at...a 2.5 year old and a one year old (though our Ella is a bit younger). It's chaos. It's craziness. It's blissfully wonderful! As expected, the pics turned out great! Can't wait for you to share them with all your family!

Hope
so sweet!
These two lovebirds came in for an engagement session last week. Kaycee and Josh totally had that "young love" glow about them! They were so sweet with one another and just very loving at all times. It was so great to just watch them interact - no doubt a beautiful wedding and marriage is around the corner. Enjoy the sneak peek, guys - I'll e-mail you with gallery information soon! :)
